    STORIA DELLA CANZONE:
    gli autori di questo brano, si basarono su una canzone messicana, “La Golondrina”. Essa venne registrata per la prima volta da Arturo Adamini nel 1898.
    La versione inglese venne incisa per la prima volta da Rosa Ponselle nel 1934.
    Ricordiamo anche la versione di Roy Orbison, nel 1962 e di Ray Price del 1968 (6° posto della classifica “Country”).
